The day started good, with dry pillows and sleeping bags. After eating a solid breakfast, yesterdays pancakes that was, we headed for a place with good 3G reception to upload the video you asked for. Since it took us one and a half hour you better be pleased! When it was finally uploaded we headed for Bergen city, and was only by chance able to escape downtown after being trapped by one-way streets while looking for parking. After a lot of driving around, we finally found a place to park. From there we walked to the market and the famous Bryggen (Warf) a series of Hanseatic commercial buildings lining the eastern side of the fjord coming into Bergen. After some ice cream we jump on Fløibanen a funicular in Bergen, Norway which runs up the mountain of Fløyen. From there we admired the stunning view, before walking down to the city center again.
Other highlights of the day was buying tube cheese, experiencing Norways mineral resources (driving in tunnels), passing the border to Sogn and Fjordane County and last but not least, the taste of premium apple and mango juice. Also, our fuel consumption since last refill was 38,6 MPG, which came as a surprise.
One of Bergens many beautiful houses.
Bergen city center.
Even the pigeons looked tired of the rain.

Crazy pigeon.

The market, lots and lots of fresh fish.
Bryggen (warf)
The buildings at the warf was tightly spaced.
The view from Fløyen.

Waiting for the ferry over Sognefjorden.

On the other side of Sognefjorden we came across this building. Which is infact a fire station. Somehow.
