René woke in panic when he discovered a legion of ants in the tent next to his bag. It ended in a huge massacre, but the ants was able to chase of both Markus and René. We fled in the direction of Bodø again. This time to find something to eat as breakfast. At the store Markus noticed poster saying Bodø Yoga Festival had just started, it took some convincing from René before they were able to leave Bodø to head for Lofoten. To pass some time we started whistling Christmas songs. When we ran out of christmas songs we put on the audiobook instead. The weather was good and when we arrived at Tranøy Lighthouse the sun was shining. Both René and Markus went crazy with their cameras as usual. When we once again got in the car we headed for the main road. But only miles from the lighthouse Markus discovered a beautiful little field, right next to the ocean. It was so ideal we had to set camp, even though the clock was just past 5. This was an historic happening. Usually we didn’t even start to look for a campsite until midnight. Which more than once had resulted in some really poor sites, like on a gravel right next to the road. Since we had time to kill, but nothing to kill it with, we once again put on a audiobook. When our stomachs started screaming, we ate chocolate pudding as supper. The sun finally dipped under the horizon and the weather was so good we decided we didn’t bother to put up the tent. It took about 5 minutes till both René and Markus realised it wasn’t to smart. The mosquitos had started an invasion.
